Here I have for sale a Barrett M82A1 82A1. Left side of the receiver is marked “BEFORE HANDLING RIFLE READ MANUAL FROM: / BARRETT / BARRETT FIREARMS MANUFACTURING, INC. / MURFREESBORO, TN. U.S.A.” with “Cal 50”, next to it on the left side again. “SAFE” and “FIRE” are marked next to the safety selector on the left side of the receiver. “SAFE” and “FIRE” marked on the right side of the receiver. The front sight is a flip up blade that integrates into the top mounted picatinny rail. The rear sight is a flip up iron peep style aperture with elevation markings for 100 to 1500 meters. It has a 24” picatinny rail. The rail is mounted with a Barret Scope marked “10x42 / +0-” via Barrett Scope Ring. The pistol grip is an Mil-Spec A2 grip. The buttstock consists of a rubber buttpad attached to the rear of the receiver with a carry handle and adjustable monopod also Has a retractable bipod that can be detached from the receiver. The picatinny rail has a carry handle attached in front of the scope. The LOP measures 14.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in about Very fine overall condition. There is some minor handling and storage wear. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering on the grip is crisp and well defined. Two 10rd original 50 BMG magazines. The springs are strong and the leading edges are sharp. The magazines rate in fine condition. There are some light scratches and scuffs on the body of the magazines though. basically the Overall Condition of this rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some light scratches spread sparsely on the upper and lower. There is some finish loss on the edges where the two receivers come together. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
