Patterned exactly after the 10-inch barreled Colt 1873 single-action peacemaker used by Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp in the 1993 movie ‘Tombstone’.
This design is attributed to the legendary revolver that was presented to Wyatt Earp by Dodge City when Wyatt left Kansas.
This one is an excellent 2006 edition made by Pietta (Italy) and imported by Cimarron (Texas) with a sterling-silver presentation-badge inlaid into the one-piece walnut grip. Beautifully finished using a combination of terrific case-hardened coloring on frame/hammer, plus deep royal-bluing on barrel/ejector/cylinder/grip-strap/trigger-housing.
Includes 12-rounds of special-edition jewel-tipped live cartridges with 6 blue & 6 purple jewels that complement the gun’s finishes. Also has original box & manual.
Revolver’s Action is built to Colt’s original 4-click system. A double-notched cylinder-pin, and a thumb-screw retainer, provides an easy way to switch between a safety setting and a firing setting. - (See photo of cylinder-pin & thumb-screw).
