A couple of years ago I purchased about 6 bags of shot from a gentleman who talked wild stories about his reloading room getting wet from a stream overflowing near his house. Specific to the lead he claimed that the bags did not get wet, but "this stuff has been heavily graphited". The reality is that the lead got wet as well, it's dried out from the years of not being in a flood - it's all usable as it's round and it will roll everywhere if dropped, but it's exceedingly dusty, might be lead dust from oxidation. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I've reloaded about half the bags, it all runs through 12ga/20ga presses, but will stick in a shot drop tube on the smaller gauges. Since I reload mostly 28/410 shells, I need to use other bags with less drama to run cleanly through my press.
Compliments of Biden, Bags of Lead are roughly $60 even if you can find them in a store. For the annoyance of this leaving white dust in your machine and maybe wearing a respirator when using it, I'm seeing if anyone is interested at the low, low price of $100 for all 3 bags. Or bank the savings, wash it and re-graphite it and call it good.
Cash only, no trades. for the discount, I'd prefer if we met in my neck of the woods.
