As a result of an unfortunate series of events, I ended up with a ruined PLX-C. Primary Arms, with their lifetime, transferrable, “no questions asked” warranty (they will ask questions but as long as they don’t feel you’re scamming them, they’ll replace it) decided to replace it for me! However, as it turns out, I don’t really care for LPVO’s.
This is a shame because this thing is frankly a work of art. The craftsmanship, the actual physical feel of it. The knurling on the turrets and caps is just … chefs kiss. The magnification ring is sooooo smooth, and the throw lever is just the perfect length so that you won’t bump into an offset dot using an Arisaka offset red dot mount, the very best made I might add. Ironic because I’m selling this with a Badger C1 Assaulter 1.93” with the optional Delta Point Pro top adapter plate (and the original as well). The mount is lightly used, but Badger C1’s are indestructible, so you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference anyway. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The reticle on this thing is by far my favorite of the possible options, as it gives extremely useful BDC stadia that are tuned for a variety of possibilities as outlined in the manual, but the default is a 14.5”-16” 5.56 with 77gr ammo and a 50yd zero. Man oh man, it’s like this thing was made for me personally. 50yd at 8x with a stabilized rifle makes for a TIGHT zero. Adjustments are in mils, and it comes with an exposed turret cap so you can dial for shots if you’re into that.
The turret clicks
are
¡¡¡¡¡TACTILE!!!!! OH MY GOD I wish every optic had these turrets. Other companies take note, whew.
The 1x on this thing is flat as can be, and I hate to admit it, but it’s actually usable in the 5x-8x range, something I find often is not the case, and why I only use a Steiner P4xi (although that Trijicon Credo HX SFP 1-6 and the various accupoint/ accupowers are something else … but I digress). This thing easily stomps the Vudu 1-10, Razor 1-10, Nightforce NX8 and frankly to my eye the ATACR 1-8 as well. Boy I just really really prefer my Elcans and Acogs to an LPVO (but those Trijicon models are slowly convincing me that the Steiner 1-4 may not be the only LPVO worth having … ahhh I don’t know.) I do know that I hate this thing way way less than any other 1-8/1-10, and it’s not even close. Again, I digress.
If you’re here, you know what this thing is and what it does. It’s $1500 new, plus tax, plus shipping, and that’s when it comes in stock from back order status.
The Badger C1 is what, $320? And $40 for the top dot adapter plate ?
So that’s … $1860 new … but the badger is used … carry the 1 …
$1450 OBO ————> Let’s remove that OBO, and just say $1350…
for the literal new in the box PLX-C 1-8 + Badger C1 Assaulter, which might as well be NiB. 1.93” might sound high (or it might sound perfect if you have actually used one), but allow me to assure you, it is the perfect height, it’s not as high as it sounds, it’s not GBRS group height for people who have to run a laser and a thermal clip on and a ranging device on a dive board mount. It’s just a really damn good shoot height. Added some pix of guns with the Badger mount when it had a Steiner P4xi in it for reference. You can get a sense of how pleasing the 1.93” height really is, but shooting with it is the real deal-sealer. Again, I am not a high-mount dude. I like offset dots for the most part, and I like how low my Elcan sits. I have my T2’s on Scalarworks 1.57” mounts, not the high guys. For LPVO’s though? 1.93” is de way.

Please, no trade offers. Thanks.
PS in addition to pix of the mount from various angles so you can see the height is awesome, added some POV pix of the reticle itself in various locations, zoom levels, and illumination settings from before I got the replacement. Look at that 1x / doorway shot; zero aberrations or shifts in the image from inside the image and out. You can see the frame of the door stays the exact same size/dimensions above, below, and directly in the optic window. THAT is “True 1x.”
