M1 Garand | Springfield Armory S/N 5971361, with accessories and custom ammo. Excellent condition. This rifle was custom built by Bruce Dow in Dade City Florida. If you’re familiar with his work, you know that he is one of the top M1 gunsmiths in the USA. The rifle was built for accuracy and is not eligible for sanctioned NRA or CMP matches. I’ve used it at various gun club matches and never had a rules issue.

This rifle is the most consistent and accurate M1 Garand I’ve ever shot. My average scores are 199 (with many 200) at 100 yards and 197 at 200 meters (220 yards). The lower score is not the rifle but my eyesight!

The rifle is a unified one-piece assembly (honestly, I’m not positive what that means), completely glass bedded, national match trigger assembly, national match sights with custom, easy to change rear peep sights. The barrel is match grade chrome moly and is perfect. I can demonstrate its condition by doing a precision dowel test and conducting a video borescope for serious inquiries.

I have a 125 rounds of Berger VLD ammo I made (retail Federal price is $1.85 per round) that the rifle absolutely loves. I will provide detailed reloading instructions. There is a gas pressure cap for heavy ammo that reduces the pressure on the gas piston to prevent damage with heavy loads.The rifle also includes Reddington custom machined reloading dies machined specifically for the brass this rife fires
