The bottom metal and bolt release lever are marked with small “crown” stampings. The top of the barrel is marked “REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC. ILION. N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.and with patent information.The left rear of the barrel is marked ”6mm rem."The barrel length is approximately 29 inches. The receiver is topped with 2 small scope bases which holds the rings and a brand new 3-9 variable power scope. The LOP measures 13 ½ inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt plate. The wood stock rates in about Very Good Overall Condition. This rifle retains 80% of the metal finish. The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms , a thorough cleaning maybe necessary. This rifle started life as aa Swedish Model 1938 chambered in 6.5x55mm. Now uses a Remington barrel chambered in 6 mm Remington. It is built on a tough Mauser receiver and topped with a 3-9 power scope.
