Made in 1950, 1950 was the last year of series production at Long Branch Arsenal in Canada. No import marks found. This is an excellent example of a Canadian No4 Mk1 Lee Enfield made at the Long Branch Arsenal in 1950. The rifle retains 90% of its original finish with no major blemishes of note. The metal has the majority of its original bluing with some edgewear throughout. The rifle is matching on the bolt and receiver but there are no other serial numbers on the rifle. Magazine and stock are not numbered, which seems to be correct for Long Branch Enfield’s. 25″ barrel with blade front sight and 1300 meter adjustable rear ladder. Arsenal blued/black finish and sanded/oiled wood stock. Includes a khaki sling. CONDITION: Metal and wood are very good overall. The bore is shiny, with excellent two groove rifling. Sling is excellent. These guns are scarce, as only a few thousand were made! For sale only, no trades at this time. If the listing is up then yes it's still available. FTF Treasure Coast Fla. area
