Basically a Gen 3-fied Kel-Tec Sub2000 9mm Gen 1. Except only better because of the no longer available metal rotating forend from Red Lion Precision. This forend rotates so you can mount a sight and still be able to fold the firearm just like the Gen 3.
GEN 1 VS GEN 3: The advantage of the Gen 1 and 2 is the built in folding rear iron sights. They also come with front sights. This means that if you want to use just iron sights, you don't have to twist the forend when unfolding it. It cuts the deploy time to half and it's more compact, which makes it easier to store in a small bag. This one has the benefits of all three generations. Gen 1 and 2 also has a longer hand grip which will fit medium to large hands. The shorter hand grip on the Gen 3 causes you to put force or pressure on the magazine when griping the hand grip.
Upgrades from Red Lion Precision 1. Metal rotating forend (R6 M-LOK Compatible) - $190 2. Three 19 slot standard picatinny rails - $100 3. Metal adjustable front sight - $75 4. Muzzle compensator - $20
