Mostly correct M1911 45 manufactured by Remington-UMC in 1918 for WWI. Pistol has been reblued. US Property marking. Model of 1911 marked on right side of slide. Manufacturer marked on left. "EEC" inspector marked along with Eagle. Slide marked "E" ar rear above firing pin. Mainspring Housing also marked "E". Two tone magazine with plenty of patina marked "A" on toe. No visible marking on barrel. Believe it to be either Springfield or Colt but WWI vintage. Barrel dark and frosted. Wood grips are modern walnut replacement. Barrel bushing and plug are modern. Remington-UMC made fewer than 22,000 pistols. Located in Polk County south of Clermont. Unable to travel due to illness. Must be FL resident with ID and legal to own. 21 years old.
