The Walther PP Super is a unique version of Walther’s PP Series. It was designed and released in 1972 and was an all-steel PP chambered in 9x18mm Ultra. This pistol was originally intended to be exclusively used as a police pistol. This is a blowback operated double-action pistol. Only 2,000 units were ever adopted by the German police forces in the 1970s and because of this Walther stopped producing this variant in 1979.
9x18mm Ultra is a very interesting cartridge it is also referred to as 9×18 Police and should not be confused with the Soviet 9×18 Makarov cartridge. This case was actually what was used to design the 9×18 Makarov and like the Makarov is described as and intermediate between 9×19 Parabellum and 9×17 Kurtz (380). However due to this pistols load data its pressure and velocity is closer to the 380 than 9mm Luger.
Do not interchange the ammunition! A Walther PP Super can ONLY be fired with 9mm Police ammo. (9×18 ULTRA)
The pistol has light holster wear and no rust. (brown on hammer pic is reflection from house paint)
Comes with two (2) seven rd magazines, box, instruction manual, 25rds of factory Fiocchi 100gr FMJTR,50rds of 100gr FMJ ball reloads and 50rds of 95gr JHP reloads.
