M1 Garand CMP Expert + grade.

Springfield Armory M1 Garand. This is an "Expert Grade" issued by the CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program). It has a WW2 era receiver and parts with a new Criterion barrel, .30-06. All other marked parts are Springfield, detailed below. Metal parts have been refinished and have a very nice appearance. There are two small areas of light pitting on the receiver, located below the wood line so they are not seen when the stock is on, but shown in photos.

This rifle is issued with new walnut stocks with no finish, i used an oil sanding technique to improve its appearance, the result is a beautiful looking stock. I am also including a canvas replica sling and two M1 clips (no ammo). The rifle was tested and certified by the CMP, it has not been fired since.

The CMP Certificate of Authenticity, blue hang tag and manual are included. Rifle will ship in the hard molded CMP case shown in pictures.
