Here's an interesting pistol from the Sig Sauer Custom Shop. This is a P229 SAS and is designed for concealed carry. This pistol is chambered for the .40 S&W and features a two-tone finish with stainless slide and black alloy frame. The barrel measures 3.9" in length. The sharp edges have been given the "melt" treatment and are well rounded to make for a comfortable carry & snag-free draw. This pistol also features the popular DAK trigger...a unique system that functions kind of like a double-action-only system but with two different trigger reset points, one offering a long, light pull and the other a shorter but heavier pull. The hammer is factory bobbed and the usual Sig decocking lever is absent. The front sight is tritium illuminated and the pistol wears a handsome set of checkered/stippled laminated wood grips. Magazine capacity is 12 rounds. This pistol is in "like new" overall condition. I'd grade this pistol 98% overall. The mechanics are in perfect working order and the bore is excellent. It comes in the original blue plastic case with two 12-shot magazines. A handsome pistol that would make a good carry gun for someone seeking a pistol with a little extra firepower.
