This is a very hard to find Olympic Arms OA-93 Pistol chambered in the rarest caliber: 7.62x39mm. It is pretty much known that only 8 guns were made in this caliber by the factory, and they sold 25 to 35 of the 7.62x39mm uppers. As this is a 2006 OA-93 receiver, it was assembled with one of the rare uppers in Olympia, Washington, where the Olympic Arms manufacturing plant has been located since 1975. The OA-93 Pistol is much shorter than other AR15 pistols because its design integrates the recoil system and charging handle into a forged flat-top upper receiver with integral picatinney scope mount rail. This eliminates the need for the buffer tube and charging handle present on the other AR15 pistols. Other features of the OA-93 include a 6" rifled stainless steel threaded barrel with phantom flash suppressor, free floating aluminum hand guard tube with external knurling, and a high capacity 7.62x39 magazine. This one is in excellent used condition with some finish wear and patina on the recoil/charging tube above the barrel, and some handling marks on the free floating hand guard. Please refer to the many detailed pics. Comes as shown with a foam filled aluminum case, one magazine, sling and Tacticon holographic optical. This would be an outstanding addition to your Black Gun collection.
