Iver Johnson American Bulldog 32 ACP Nicole approx age 1895-1899. Saw handle shaped grip and Eagle design on the hard rubber grips. Nickel finished in .32 caliber, 2 1/2" octagonal barrel, single or double action. There is a stamped number under the grips, 3203 not sure if that is serial number. This is actually very good condition for a 130 year old item, see photos.
Nickel plating at least 95%. Some scratches from handling and use light use but not deep. Crisp action and play in the cylinder when at rest, presumably so round can be loaded into the cylinder. Rifling looks good. When the trigger is pulled to hammer drop, the cylinder seems to index correctly. We have only dry fired it. It has not been test fired with ammunition. Although It appears to be fully functional, It is being sold as an antique and because of it's age, it is advisable to have it inspected by an accomplished gunsmith before attempting to use it for its intended purpose. Possible trade for modern pistol only. $275 Ralph 561 212-1176
