Very nice Wm. Tranter 1861, 4th Model, .45 cal percussion pistol from the Civil War. Serial #12850 with inspector and proof marks. There is much engraving still visible but most of the bluing has been worn. This is a collectible CW era British pistol that likely saw action during that time.
