Good rifling. Shoots well, with no mechanical issues and good obturator.
Installed needle is good. Comes with two additional needles, one extra good needle and another one that is broken but original to the gun. Also includes materials needed for making the ammunition: bullet mold, dowels, paper punches, and percussion caps (no black powder). Also includes a diagram from 1866 of the internals, ammunition, and mechanical function.
