* DE = Deutschland (Made in Germany)
* BC = 2012 proof/date code
* German eagle/N proof marks = genuine Ulm German proofing
Collectors and Walther fans especially like the BC/BD-era PPS M1s because many were imported before later marking changes and before the M2 push-button release replaced the paddle design.
