You probably know more about this than I do, it’s been sitting my safe for 30 years. It’s a German Luger PO8. It is stamped 1918 with a countertop of 1920. It is serial number 1422 with the matching numbers of “22” all over all the other parts. It appears to be an original condition, but i was told that it may of been re-blued also. I have never fired nor even cocked the gun it has been sitting. On the grip it is marked. 8./j.R.9.8
Which I looked up and it says it’s from the imperial German military unit, eighth company, infantry regiment, ninth infantry regiment weapon, number eight within the company. It has other marks, including hallmarks on the barrel. It comes with two magazines with wood ends a loading tool and a holster, leather.
I seen other ones going for a lot more money. So tell me what you think.
