Semi Automatic 9mm UZI Carbine

**FLORIDA DRIVERS LICENSE AND BILL OF SALE REQUIRED**

By Default, this listing is for a Semi-Automatic 9mm UZI Carbine with a 16” Barrel. This is a firearm currently in my trust (and so engraved) on a Form 1 which will be taken off the NFA registry as a function of the sale. If you are well versed with the NFA and already set up with SBR’s and are inclined to own a Semi-Automatic UZI as an SBR, this could be transferred via a Form 4 as an SBR(Thoroughly Read SBR Terms below).

This Semi-Automatic UZI Carbine is built on a NoDakSpud Receiver Shell using a mix of new US and quality surplus parts. The finish on this firearm is aspriationally parkerized. Some parts are new parked, some parts still wear their original park, some parts are cerakote park color and all in all it looks good but could probably give FN FDE a run for its money on color match issues. See pictures.

Let’s break down the parts.
• Receiver Shell is a low SN NoDakSPUD. IDF000xx
• Receiver Parts are McKay Enterprises (which you may already know did the manuf work for NoDak and eventually took over selling UZI Parts)
• The Grip is IMI Made for Germany and carries DES Selector Lettering. This WAS a FA Grip that has been permanently converted to Semi-Auto only (3rd position does NOT work) by welding a washer in the inside of the assembly. Oh and the serial numbers on the grip don’t mean anything.
• Bolt is IMI Model A Style and is likely a real IMI bolt(trying to confirm that). As you may know, the difference between Model A and Model B style Bolts is a rocker that rides on the ejector which prevents the striker falling if the bolt is out of battery. I have put well over 10K rounds(not this weapon) on Model A style bolts and I have never had issues with an out of battery discharge, but safety changes to the design were made for safety reasons.
• The 16” Barrel is new(before 32 rounds were test fired in it) and manufactured by Pike Arms. If you purchase this as an SBR, whichever barrel you chose would have been made by “BWE” years before Richard passed away ☹.
• The firearm currently styles an IMI K Grip which used to be plentiful, but don’t look on gunbroker to see how much they are asking for these today ($350!). Also included a mil surplus set of handguards if ergonomics aren’t your thing.
• Other small parts, springs, etc… would be mil surplus from back in the glory days when UZI parts kits were plentiful and cheap.

My history with this firearm: I purchased the receiver shell and F1’d it to my trust back in the good old days when you could do NFA Trust acquisitions without the current overhead. I purchased the weld-up parts/internal receiver parts later. I took a completed McKay Receiver and these parts to a gun shop out of the back of an auto body shop and they welded everything up matching how the McKay receiver was welded. All in all I say they did about a 97% job which for a UZI is all you need. Obviously if this was an HK anything short of perfection would have resulted in total failure 😊 From there high-quality surplus parts were used to finish the weapon. It’s not the absolute best UZI in my collection, but it’s better than a Group Industries gun with their flawed and out of spec receives and WAY better than any of the UC-9 crap that Century was putting together.

As you may know, with a big heavy bolt to move around, UZI’s prefer the hotter end of 9mm. NATO spec ammo great. WWB and 124gr ammo usually good. Weak-ass Rem UMC 9mm bad. Since I am generous, this listing includes 200 rounds of 115gr Winchester White Box to get you started.

Since mags are not as plentiful as they once were, I include 5, 25 round mags and 3, 32 round mags in surplus mag pouches (you are welcome). I am including an original mag loader, but you’ll want to find a UZI Mag LULA for the best experience loading magazines. An original IMI sling is included.

**FLORIDA DRIVERS LICENSE AND BILL OF SALE REQUIRED**

Non-NFA TERMS: This is a cash only sale. FTF meetup TBD, but SE JAX Preferred. It’s super reasonable that a fully committed buyer will want to take this for a spin and my preferred location is Saltwater in North St. Augustine. You should expect to pay your way on range fees for the luxury of a try before you buy. I am not going to some random a$$ pit in the middle of nowhere for a test fire for obvious reasons.

NFA TERMS: This is still a cash only sale. This needs to not be your first go around with the NFA Form (1 or) 4 – and with the right details on the firearm you follow a golden path you are familiar with for filing a Form 4. Payment in cash up front is required. I know you are going to balk at this but let me explain: We are going to find a way to build a repore to where you will trust me to not screw you over on this. I’ll knock the asking price off $100 in the case of an NFA transfer to split tax stamp cost with you. Since you are well versed with the NFA, you appreciate that the last thing I am going to want to do is give the new rightful owner of this firearm per the NFA any delay in handing this firearm over once an approved form/tax stamp is in hand (which of course you’ll literally have in hand proving the transfer has been approved). That’s also why I want the full cash payment up front since I don’t want to get whatever time it takes the ATF to approve your Form 4 down the road with you having a completed stamp, but a loss of job or change of situation, etc… and me being SOL on collecting funds. Oh, and obviously I keep the 16” barrel and you can choose which SBR Barrel you want between a classic 10” or a 8” FBI Profile Barrel. (or if you want both let’s talk $$). Since this all sounds overly complicated for mere mortals, how about that Title 1/Non-SBR transfer, right? :D

BTW: if the whole “OMG it’s the NFA thing” scares you, here are a few handy links backing up what I’m talking about here:

Basically one way or another, the registry gets updated either removing this as a SBR or transferring it to someone else as a SBR, all fairly normal stuff that I chose to be transparent about.
