**FLORIDA DRIVERS LICENSE AND BILL OF SALE REQUIRED**
This listing is for a Semi-Automatic 9mm UZI Carbine with a 16” Barrel. This is a firearm currently in my trust (and so engraved) on a Form 1 which will be taken off the NFA registry as a function of the sale.
This Semi-Automatic UZI Carbine is built on a NoDakSpud Receiver Shell using a mix of new US and quality surplus parts. The finish on this firearm is aspriationally parkerized. Some parts are new parked, some parts still wear their original parkerization, The receiver has been cerakoted in a grey park color and all in all it looks good but could probably give FN FDE a run for its money on color match issues. See pictures.
Let’s break down the parts. • Receiver Shell is a low SN NoDakSpud. IDF000xx • Receiver Parts are McKay Enterprises (which you may already know did the manufacturing work for NoDak and eventually took over selling UZI Parts) • The Grip is IMI Made for Germany and carries DES Selector Lettering. This WAS a Full Auto Grip that has been permanently converted to Semi-Auto only (3rd position does NOT work) by welding a washer in the inside of the assembly. • Bolt is IMI Model A Style and should be an original IMI bolt. As you may know, the difference between Model A and Model B style Bolts is a rocker that rides on the ejector which prevents the striker falling if the bolt is out of battery. I have put well over 10K rounds(not this weapon) on Model A style bolts and I have never had issues with an out of battery discharge, but safety changes to the design were made for safety reasons. • The 16” Barrel is new (before 32 rounds were test fired in it) and manufactured by Pike Arms. • The firearm currently styles an IMI K Grip which used to be plentiful, but don’t look on gunbroker to see how much they are asking for these today ($350!). Also included a mil surplus set of handguards if ergonomics aren’t your thing. • Other small parts, springs, etc… would be mil surplus from back in the glory days when UZI parts kits were plentiful and cheap.
My history with this firearm: I purchased the receiver shell and F1’d it to my trust back in the good old days when you could do NFA Trust acquisitions without the current overhead. I purchased the weld-up parts/internal receiver parts later. I took a completed McKay Enterprises UZI Receiver as an example and these parts to a gun shop out of the back of an auto body shop and they welded everything up matching how the McKay receiver was welded. All in all I say they did about a 97% job which for a UZI is all you need. From there high-quality surplus parts were used to finish the weapon. It’s not the absolute best-looking UZI in my collection, but it runs 100% and it’s better than a Group Industries gun with their flawed and out of spec receivers and WAY better than any of the UC-9 crap that Century was putting together.
As you may know, with a big heavy bolt to move around, UZI’s prefer the hotter end of 9mm. NATO spec ammo great. WWB and 124gr ammo usually good. Weak-ass Rem UMC 9mm bad. Included in the sale is 200 rounds of 115gr Winchester White Box to get you started.
Since mags are not as plentiful as they once were, I include 5, 25 round mags and 3, 32 round mags in surplus mag pouches (you are welcome). I am including an original mag loader, but you’ll want to find a UZI Mag LULA for the best experience loading magazines. An original IMI sling is included.
**FLORIDA DRIVERS LICENSE AND BILL OF SALE REQUIRED**
This is a cash only sale. A Bill of Sale form must be completed, and you must produce a Florida Driver's license that matches what you put down on the Bill of Sale Form. FTF meetup TBD, but SE JAX Preferred. It’s super reasonable that a fully committed buyer will want to take this for a spin and my preferred location is Saltwater in North St. Augustine. You should expect to pay your way on range fees for the luxury of a try before you buy. I am not going to some random pit in the middle of nowhere for a test fire for obvious reasons. When I say 'This firearm will be taken off the NFA Registry as a part of the sale' - if you are not familiar with this, all it means is literally that, it's taken off the registry, that doesn't mean your information is related to the ATF. The required Bill of Sale with a FL Driver's License that matches that is for my personal record keeping and would only be resurrected if LEO came knocking if the firearm was used illegally.
