This pair began as new Talo exclusive Quick Draw Vaqueros, which were sent to World Champion Cowboy Action Shooter Jim Finch, aka "Long Hunter," for custom action work. Jim performed his premium action job, which includes the following modifications:
- Honed all internal parts and replaced springs. Reworked sear and hammer for a crisp 2.5 lb. trigger pull. Re-cut forcing cone to 11 degrees. Squared barrel face
- Checked cylinder gap and headspace.
- Replaced the factory firing pin and spring with an extended firing pin and a lightened spring. Serrated the front sights. Added a .007 hammer relief. Jeweled hammer and trigger
